Terms & Conditions

1. Child Policy

• Children below 5 years of age are generally complimentary, subject to hotel policies.
• Children aged 5 years and above will be considered adults for pricing purposes.
• In group departures, transportation charges and hotel/homestay meal charges for children will be applicable and charged separately.

2. Package Inclusions & Exclusions

• Entry tickets, monument fees, state taxes, camera charges, guide charges, and sightseeing entrance fees are not included unless specifically mentioned.
• Any meals, transfers, or services not mentioned in the itinerary shall be treated as exclusions.
• Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, shopping, room service, tips, etc., are not included.
• Any kind of beverage, including alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, mineral water, etc., is excluded.
• Breakfast and dinner are served on a fixed menu/Thali basis as per hotel policy.

3. Sightseeing Timings

• Sightseeing is generally conducted between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, subject to local attraction timings.
• Any extension beyond scheduled sightseeing hours will attract additional charges of ₹300 per hour.

4. Vehicle Usage Policy

• The vehicle provided will strictly operate according to the confirmed itinerary and common routes.
• Drivers are not authorized to deviate from the agreed route without prior approval.
• Vehicles are not at disposal for personal or unplanned travel.
• Late evening or night drives beyond the itinerary are not permitted.
• If the vehicle reaches the destination after 10:00 PM, applicable night charges will be levied.
• Air conditioning may remain switched off in hilly areas due to mechanical and safety reasons.
• The driver reserves the right to operate the AC depending on terrain and weather conditions.

5. Local Restrictions

• Outside vehicles are not permitted for local sightseeing in Nainital. Guests may need to hire local taxis at their own expense.
• In areas where vehicle entry is restricted by local authorities, the vehicle will drop guests at the nearest accessible point. Further arrangements shall be managed by the guest.

6. Vehicle Breakdown or Accident

• In case of a mechanical breakdown or accident, Taleshwar Tours will arrange an alternate vehicle within 6–8 hours of receiving the information.
• Any additional expenses like accommodations and meals during such circumstances shall be borne by the guest.

7. Weather and Force Majeure

• In case of roadblocks, landslides, snowfall, natural calamities, political disturbances, strikes, traffic restrictions, or any unforeseen circumstances, Taleshwar Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary without altering the total number of days.
• Any evacuation expenses or additional costs incurred due to such situations shall be borne by the guest.
• Taleshwar Tours shall not be liable for any refund or compensation arising from such circumstances.

8. Flight Changes and Cancellations

• Changes or cancellations in flights after package confirmation cannot be amended by Taleshwar Tours.

9. Hotel Policy

• Hotels are subject to availability. In case the booked hotel is sold out, closed, or unavailable, accommodation of similar standards will be provided.
• Room occupancy shall strictly be as confirmed at the time of booking.

10. Package Cost and Amendments

• Package rates are based on real-time availability and are subject to change until final confirmation.
• Any increase in the number of travelers or change in services will result in additional charges, which shall be borne by the client.
• Charges arising from modifications requested by guests during the tour must be paid directly to the supplier or driver after consultation with Taleshwar Tours.

11. Guest Responsibilities

• Guests are requested to immediately inform Taleshwar Tours regarding any dissatisfaction related to hotel or tour services.
• Failure to report issues during the trip may affect eligibility for compensation or refunds.
• Payment obligations remain valid unless services specifically promised in the booking confirmation are not provided.
• Guests are expected to maintain proper decorum and conduct throughout the tour/yatra. Taleshwar Tours reserves the right to disband the group or terminate a guest's participation in the tour/yatra without any refund if any guest is found engaging in misconduct, indiscipline, or behavior that disrupts the safety, harmony, or smooth operation of the tour.

12. Refund and Liability

Refunds are not applicable for:

• No-shows.
• Unused hotel stays.
• Unused sightseeing or transportation services.
• Non-refundable bookings such as helicopter services and train tickets.

Taleshwar Tours shall not be responsible for any illness, injury, loss, theft, damage, or death occurring during the journey or hotel stay.

13. Mandatory Documents

• Valid government-issued photo identification is mandatory for all guests at the time of check-in.

14. Group Departure Policy

• Taleshwar Tours reserves the right to cancel or postpone a group departure if the minimum required participation is not achieved or due to operational constraints.
• In such cases, guests may opt for:
  • Alternate travel dates (subject to availability), or
  • A credit note for future travel.

15. Payment Default

• Taleshwar Tours reserves the right to terminate the tour at any stage in case of delayed or incomplete payments.
